Fantastic story and yoga time today at Wee Write! We loved it! Thank you. We couldn’t wait to get home to read the book again.

The yoga poses really connect to the animal shapes, and the yoga moved the kids moved the kids from one to the next at a good pace. Connecting the animals with the yoga poses and by telling a story seemed really natural.

They loved it and just followed the story in their own space copying and making up their own poses as we travelled through Ommie’s Magical Garden. It was loved by all as I invited the children in for story time.

This is a really special book, with simple yet beautiful illustrations. My boys loved spotting hidden creatures in the greenery, and trying out all the poses. It is a lovely introduction to yoga for children, and has a simple rainbow meditation on the last page. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book.

My son (4) loves this book and regularly seeks it out... but also I have sometimes tried it out with his friends and have found it a great activity to do if I need to divert them or entertain them! Colourful and engaging.

My boys loved it too. They were calm, relaxed, followed well and engaged learning why each pose was good for them. We also talked about the story and the bigger picture of life. Brilliant!

All the children were transfixed by the exercises (a different thing to achieve with children of that age group). The layout of the book is also simple and the images intrigued the children!

Arrived on the morning when one of our teachers (who does a lot of yoga) was being observed by our head teacher as she delivered a yoga class to see if it was worthwhile continuing next year. The children loved her session and the book, which perfectly illustrated what she was teaching. I will get in touch and see if we can source some more for our other nurseries.

Which children will adore. The illustrations are colourful and graphically absorbing and the concepts throughout this book are life affirming and holistic. The short Rainbow Meditation at the end of the story completes the experience and could compliment a restful Savasana, making space for peace and harmony to fill the soul.

The children were focused and fascinated by the animals in the story, using their whole body to create the positions. This would be a calming story for the older children during summer term to relax and focus them. This is definitely something we will be implementing.

I really liked this concept and was being observed by my college assessor who also thought it was a great idea! I heard one child remark: ‘This is a good book!

My little 3 year old girl Olivia has completely fallen in love with this book and asks me to read it to her every night before bed. Olivia sits on her rug in her bedroom waiting for me to start reading. I love my mummy yoga time, Olivia knows I love it too. It’s so lovely to be able to share a little piece of me with her and it can be easily shared with her, since now owning “Ommie and The Magical Garden”.

Gorgeous illustrations and a sweet introduction to yoga. My daughter is only 2 and she loves flicking through the pages and doing the impressions of all the animals.
